This new years eve, we made plans to go to Chinatown to hang out with some friends of ours, Belinda and Trent. Belinda and I met through a coffee group and have enjoyed each other's company. They are from Australia and have become accustom to the expat lifestyle... prior to Singapore, they lived in New Zealand! How cool is that?!?
We first met at their lovely apartment off Club Street for a small dinner and a few cocktails. Then, since Club St is literally right out their door, we started there!

After enjoying Club Street for a bit, we decided to take the short stroll down to Boat Quay. Boat Quay is know for pubs and restaurants all along the water and it does not disappoint! We met up with some other friends (also from coffee group!) and passed the time visiting and taking in the sights before midnight.
Later, we moved down to the riverside and sat on the steps waiting for the clock to strike midnight and, of course, the FIREWORKS!
