When you first move to Singapore, everyone asks you "have you had the chili crab?!" Well, Blake and I grew tired of replying "no" and set out to find out what this chili crab was all about! First, we made reservations at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant at Clarke Quay... a must in Singapore unless you plan to wait for an extended amount of time or be refused to be given a table at all. In Singapore, when you have a table, it is yours for the night. No one will pester you to move on, simply take your time and enjoy your evening.

(The picture does not begin to do it justice.)
So, back to the chili crab... Clarke Quay (pronounced key) is an awesome area of Singapore set on water with loads of pubs, bars, and restaurants. There are beautiful landscapes surrounding you and it really is an exciting place to be! Jumbo Seafood is set along the river and we were fortunate to get an outside table on the water. We ordered the chili crab (what else?), egg fried prawns, seafood rice, and numerous glasses of Tiger beer. DELICIOUS! Really a wonderful meal and I can now understand what the fuss is all about.
( I had to take 3 pictures to get one of him looking at the camera and not staring at his crab! lol...)
