MacRitchie Reservoir Park

This past weekend, Blake and I decided to go on a hike. We checked out some trails online and set off on our adventure.

Using the navigation, an absolute must have in Singapore, we drove towards a parking lot that was near the trail we wanted to take. But, we were unable to find it... so we navigated to another parking area a bit farther from the Treetop Trail we wanted to hike... Turns out the little mishap made our hike about 13 kilometers versus 6 kilometers! Still, it was incredibly enjoyable and Blake did not complain a bit! (wink, wink)

The scenery and wildlife we encountered on the trail was simply amazing! You really did feel as though you were in a jungle... the humidity was enough to convince you of that in itself! It was extremely steaming hot on the trails.

Monkeys!
These little guys were everywhere throughout the park.
I loved taking pictures of them and the Singaporeans walked right by like it was nothing exciting.

The Treetop Trail was the trail I most wanted to go on, so after 6 kilometers, we reached it!

The Treetop trail has a suspended bridge that allows you to have great views above the treetops!
